As an artist and educator, I lead workshops and organize museum programs that use photography and book arts to encourage slow looking, storytelling, accessibility, and intergenerational exchange.
Below are a few examples of recent projects.

Creative Aging Program at Pérez Art Museum Miami

Since 2023, I have coordinated and developed programming for the Creative Aging initiative at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The program offers free multi-week arts workshops for adults ages 55+, creating space for creative exploration, social connection, and lifelong learning through practices such as photography, book arts, and mixed media.

Studio Vizcaya – Binding Histories: Book Arts & Memory
Through the Studio Vizcaya program at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, I developed and led Binding Histories: Book Arts & Memory, a workshop series focused on storytelling through book arts. Across ten classes, I worked with 287 participants who explored a variety of bookbinding techniques while creating work inspired by Vizcaya’s architecture, gardens, and layered histories. The series concluded with a collaborative animated book installation created with artist Sean Sullivan.

Portraits as Poems – Locust Projects
At Locust Projects, I led Portraits as Poems, a three-part workshop series exploring portraiture through poetry, photography, and book arts. Participants studied contemporary portrait photographers while creating handmade “book portraits” of someone meaningful in their lives using personal photographs, ephemera, and collected objects. The series concluded with a small exhibition of participants’ work at Locust Projects.
